Welcome to Cambridge Montessori Primary at Te Miro School

Our Montessori class was established in 2008 to provide a quality Montessori education for children in the Cambridge Waipa District.
The class is for six to twelve year old children.

Core Principles

Nurture and inspire the creativity, curiosity, leadership, love and imagination that lies within us all.

Treat each child as a unique individual, allowing him/her to develop optimally at his/her own pace in a peaceful, non-competitive atmosphere.

Teach self-discipline, and respect for self, others and the environment.

Recognise the sensitive periods in children’s lives where certain skills are learned readily.
